Motors and tubes are sold separately, this allows a single motor to be used with different tubes for different applications.
The pump is supplied in two parts: the motor (electric or compressed air-driven), and the tubeset. The tubeset, which houses the pump itself, is immersed in the liquid by inserting it through the bung hole of the drum.
